Craving something sweet ?

Thank you for visiting our store and for your support. Confectionery Gem’s journey began in the summer of 2021, when I received a FabFitFun subscription box. One of its customizations was a bracelet making kit from BaubleBar. It came in a small clear pouch with a plastic container of beads and some string. That kit rekindled a creativity in me that I hadn’t felt since I was a child. After I made my first bracelet, I kept it in my dresser and found myself looking at it often, wondering if this was something I wanted to pursue in the future.

By 2023, I was working as a grocery store clerk, spending a significant portion of my paychecks on beading materials. At first, I was just making a variety of designs for myself to wear. However, I soon started thinking about turning this hobby into a full-on business. I began making multiples of each design, which led to the creation of the pieces Bubblegum Pop, Turquoise Saltwater Taffy, and Iridescent Creamsicle Pearls.

Even though I’ve had these designs, the business didn’t have a name or a clear theme yet. I spent a lot of time researching gemstones, learning about clarity, grades, and the different meanings behind the stones. While I have always loved rose quartz and amethyst, I discovered my new favorites like opals and morganite. I’ve also developed a deep appreciation for the quality of Swarovski crystals. What I once called a hobby, eventually became an obsession with finding some of the best materials.

In September 2025, everything finally came together., the confectionery theme and the name of the company became a constant thought. By October 2025,Confectionery Gems was born! My craft has evolved significantly over the years. While I started with plastic beads and simple stretch cords, I’ve eventually taught myself how to work with gemstones and metal components. I’ve mastered the art of making chain bracelets by hand wrapping beads, and making my own eye pins using 20 and 26 gauge wire. I hope you enjoy my collections as much as I did creating them! <3
