Monster Crunch

You’re walking downtown in search of something that warm, sweet, and goes good with a glass of warm milk. You stumble upon a beautiful bakery whose front door is cracked open just enough for anyone who walks by to take a whiff of their baked goods. The aroma captures you almost in an instant. The smells of freshly baked cakes, donuts, and cookies is what lure you in. As you walk in, you notice just how small, but dainty, this place is. Looking over at the displays, you see a variety of multi-tiered cakes, fresh donuts laying on cooling racks, and the main reason why you walked in, the cookies.

You ask the cashier for a small pack of the Monster Crunch cookies to go. They’re chocolate chip cookies with blue covered chocolate candies baked in as well. She describes them as being soft in the middle but crunch at the edges. You take your small box to go and head home. Shortly after arriving, you heat up a tall glass of warm milk. The initial bite legitimizes that crunch factor you heard about earlier, then you take another, the chocolate morsels melts instantly and make you salivate in an instant along with the milk. This winter day went from a regular one to the sweetest one ever.
